General Mailing Advice:
Special note for packages: Use U.S. Postal mail and not any other carriers like FedEx. The other carriers get trapped in customs and I'll have to go to the city (a 12 hour drive one way) and pay to retrieve them!
1. Letters may take 2-4 weeks to get to me. If you send multiple letters in a row, date or number them in case the second one speeds ahead of the first and I have no clue what you're talking about. Also, it's not unusual for letters to disappear off the face of the earth without reaching Mongolia at all.
2. Write "Airmail" on the envelope.
3. Don't put anything shiny, nifty stamps, things that attract attention - basically anything that will make someone want to steal my mail. (Also, don't send anything expensive, tape packages securely, and make sure to use padding for breakable things like CD cases.)
